2. Understand How We Use Your Data

We process your personal data under the lawful bases of Consent and Legitimate Legal/Contractual Obligations for the following purposes:

  • Data Security: We implement strict technical and organizational security measures, including AES 256-bit encryption for data at rest and SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit. Financial data passes securely through PCI-DSS compliant channels.

  • Data Retention: We retain your financial and loan-related data for the minimum durations mandated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and tax authorities (typically 5 to 7 years post-loan closure). General account data is deleted upon account deactivation or explicit deletion request, provided no active financial or legal disputes exist.

  • Data Localization: In compliance with RBI and IRDAI directives, all your financial, payment, and insurance records are stored and processed strictly on servers located within the territorial boundaries of India.
